Data, Data, Data,......I am glad to see that we are finally going to go forward with all the data collections we are doing. We do a similar data collection of writing on our campus (PK-1). It originated being for only our LEP students but has now grown campus wide. The plan is for it to follow them throughout their school career. We are to grade 4 at this time and it is a great tool to have for RTI, SPED concerns, G/T nominations, and just overall implementation of new writing techniques. Looking forward to following your success.
ReplyDeleteAny advice on how to do a good job with this? I am a social studies teacher with a Language Arts action research project. Luckily I have the full support of the English chair. Still any pitfalls that can be avoided would be great.
DeleteYour plan appears to be well-planned out. Writing across all subject areas has been such a push in my district as well. Good luck with your project.
